Can Erva really tell the difference between a sales call and a real customer?

Yes. She is trained to identify spam, robocalls, and outbound sales pitches, and to handle them differently from real customers. Real customers get her full attention. Spam gets shut down.

What happens if Erva cannot understand the caller?

She asks for clarification, the same way a trained receptionist would. "I'm sorry, could you repeat that?" If she genuinely cannot resolve the call, she warm-transfers to a team member with the context she has.

Can Erva take payment over the phone?

On Growth Pro and above, yes — for deposit or appointment-confirmation payments. Full transactional payments are configurable and require a Stripe or equivalent processor on your account.

Do you record the calls?

Yes. All calls are recorded for quality assurance and for Erva's continuous improvement. Recordings are stored in your account and available to you. Compliance with two-party-consent states is handled in the greeting.

What if I want a team member to take certain calls personally?

You set the rules. Calls from a specific number (a VIP customer, a referral partner) can be routed straight to a team member. Erva handles everything else.

Can Erva make outbound calls?

Yes, on Growth Pro and above. She places callbacks for missed inbound calls, confirmation calls before appointments, and follow-up calls after a quote. Cold outbound prospecting is available on Scale Dominator.
