Does it work on landlines?

Yes, if the landline is forwarded through Erva or routed to a number that can detect missed calls. We set this up during onboarding.

What if the caller is on a landline and cannot receive texts?

Erva detects whether the number can receive SMS. If it cannot, she logs the missed call for follow-up by a team member, with the caller ID.

Is the text-back compliant with TCPA?

Yes. The text is sent in response to the caller initiating contact with your business — a recognized exception under TCPA. We also include a STOP/HELP keyword on every message, as required.

Can I control what the text says?

Yes. The default template works for most businesses, but you can customize the wording, the tone, and add follow-up branches.

With every message, you can either "Like" or "Dislike' the AI response. This will train your employee to answer with the correct answer, 100% of the time.

What happens to repeat callers?
